Terms of enrolment and use

These terms apply to lightwork.academy and to every product, course and event sold by Steven Allan Booth (ABN 79 985 869 259), trading as Seven Stars Academy, which runs Lightwork Academy. By buying or enrolling you agree to them. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What we provide

Education in a practice of attention and inner alignment in the Esoteric Acupuncture tradition, delivered as recorded and live online material, written material, and in-person events. It is not medical treatment, therapy or health advice. No health outcome is promised. If you are unwell, see a registered health practitioner.

Who may enrol

You must be 18 or over. The practitioner pathway is open to people with an established practice in bodywork, energy work, movement teaching or Chinese medicine; you are responsible for practising within your own scope, registration and code of conduct. Nothing in the pathway trains or authorises anyone to needle.

Access and licence

Course material is licensed to you personally for your own study. Lifetime access to recorded material means for the life of the product on our platform; we will give at least 90 days' notice and a download window if a product is retired. You may not share, copy, resell or teach from the material without written permission. Dr Mikio Sankey's work is his; our extensions and commentary are ours.

Live components

Live calls are scheduled in Australian Eastern time and recorded. Dates may move with notice; a moved date is not grounds for a refund unless you can no longer attend any of the rescheduled sessions.

Payment plans

A payment plan is a commitment to the full price. Missed instalments pause access until paid.

Refunds and cancellation

See the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Your consumer-guarantee rights are not affected by anything in it.

Conduct

Group spaces are held with care. Abuse, harassment, or presenting the material as medical treatment will end your enrolment without refund.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a product or course is limited to the price you paid for it. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
